To dye the skin green for a Poison Ivy costume, one can use body paint or makeup specifically designed for use on the skin. Start by applying a green base all over the skin, making sure to blend it well. Then, use darker green shades to create depth and dimension, focusing on areas such as the cheekbones, temples, and jawline. Finish off the look by adding any additional details, such as vines or leaves, using a fine brush and darker green paint. **

No, the green velvet snail is not the only animal that feeds through photosynthesis. The green sea slug, also known as Elysia chlorotica, is another animal that can perform photosynthesis. These sea slugs have the ability to incorporate chloroplasts from the algae they consume into their own cells, allowing them to produce energy through photosynthesis. This unique ability allows them to survive for months without eating. **

The Bronx has a reputation for being a dangerous area in New York, but like any urban area, it has both safe and less safe neighborhoods. While there are some areas with higher crime rates, there are also many safe and vibrant neighborhoods in the Bronx. Like any city, it's important to be aware of your surroundings and take precautions, but the Bronx is not uniformly dangerous. **

To plant cuttings of Devil's Ivy, start by taking a 4-6 inch cutting from a healthy, mature plant. Remove the lower leaves from the cutting and place it in a jar of water, making sure that at least one node (where the leaf was attached) is submerged. Change the water every few days to prevent rot and place the jar in a warm, bright location but out of direct sunlight. Once roots have developed, transfer the cutting to a well-draining potting mix and keep the soil consistently moist. Devil's Ivy prefers indirect light and moderate humidity, so be sure to provide these conditions for optimal growth. **

When folding velvet, it is important to handle it with care to avoid crushing or flattening the pile. Lay the velvet fabric flat on a clean surface and gently smooth out any wrinkles. Fold the fabric loosely and avoid pressing down too hard on the pile. It is also recommended to store velvet items hanging up to prevent creases and maintain the fabric's luxurious appearance. **

Yes, one can still sweat in velvet. While velvet is a luxurious and soft fabric, it is not particularly breathable, so it can trap heat and moisture against the skin. This can lead to sweating, especially in warm or humid conditions. It's important to choose clothing made from breathable fabrics, such as cotton or linen, if you want to minimize sweating. **

To dye velvet, you will need to first prepare the fabric by washing it to remove any dirt or residue. Then, choose a fabric dye that is suitable for velvet and follow the instructions on the dye package. It is important to use a dye specifically made for synthetic fibers if your velvet is made from synthetic materials. Next, mix the dye according to the instructions and immerse the velvet fabric into the dye bath, making sure to stir constantly to ensure even color distribution. Finally, rinse the fabric thoroughly and allow it to dry completely before using or sewing it into your desired project. **

No, New York City is not an island apart from the Bronx. The Bronx is actually one of the five boroughs of New York City, and it is connected to the rest of the city by land. The other four boroughs (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island) are all part of the larger landmass of New York City, and are not separate islands. **
